Accessibility statement

Rep System Crane Service Ltd. wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We have put real work into making it accessible, and that work is ongoing.

The standard we aim for

This site was built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. We want to say plainly that we do not claim the site fully meets that level today. What follows is what is already in place, and immediately after it, what is not.

What is already in place

• Correct semantic structure — one main heading per page, a consistent heading hierarchy, and navigation, content and footer regions marked as such for screen readers.
• Full keyboard navigation, including a skip link straight to the main content at the start of every page.
• Correct language and text direction on every page — Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right.
• Alternative text on images, and decorative icons marked so that screen readers skip them.
• Labels on form fields, rather than relying on placeholder text alone.
• A visible keyboard focus indicator on interactive elements.
• Buttons, badges and calls to action on the site's yellow carry dark text, at a contrast ratio comfortably above the required level.
• The site's yellow is used as a background colour, not as a text colour on a light background. Figures meant to stand out — years in business, service availability, project specifications — are shown on a yellow surface with dark text, rather than as yellow text on a light one.
• Links and cards that previously turned yellow on hover now use an underline instead, so the hover state does not depend on a colour that is hard to see against a light background.
• The red used for urgent notices, alerts and form error messages meets the required contrast ratio — both as the colour of a button and as the colour of the error text itself, including where that text sits on a pale red panel.
• The frequently asked questions section works without JavaScript and is keyboard-operable.
• Animations across the site respect the system setting for reduced motion — scroll reveals, the moving elements on the home page and background motion all stop when that setting is on.
• The mobile menu behaves as a dialog for keyboard users: focus moves into it when it opens, cannot leave it while it is open, Escape closes it, and focus returns to the button that opened it.

Known limitations

These are the things we know are not yet right. They appear here because an accessibility statement that hides what is missing from it is worth nothing:

• The Google map embedded on the contact page is a third-party component, and its accessibility is not under our control. Everything the map shows — address, phone and opening hours — also appears as plain text on that same page.
• The site is not currently checked by automated accessibility tools as part of development.
