Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most

What does preventive maintenance cover?

The service covers a visual inspection, checking cables and chains, checking brakes, lubricating moving parts, calibrating instruments and issuing an inspection report.

How quickly do you reach an emergency fault?

Our emergency team reaches most sites within hours of your call, 24 hours a day.

Do you handle every type of crane?

Yes. We handle suspended, overhead travelling, bridge, jib and gantry cranes, hoists and lifting equipment of every kind.

How often does the law require a periodic inspection?

The Safety at Work Ordinance sets two separate intervals: chains, ropes and lifting tackle in use are examined by a certified inspector at least once every six months (section 75), and the lifting machine and all of its parts at least once every fourteen months (section 81). The inspection report must be filed in the plant register within 20 days of the examination (section 119A).
