Foldable Aluminium Gantry

A foldable aluminium gantry crane is a portable crane that folds or breaks down small enough to fit in a van, and is set up wherever a load needs lifting and there is no fixed lifting infrastructure. It suits field service and maintenance teams, workshops and plants that need a temporary lifting point they can move between workstations. Assembly uses removable pins and fixed joints, with no special tools. On most models the beam height and the span between the legs adjust in fixed steps, so the crane can pass through doorways, work under low ceilings or stand over a wide machine. A push trolley carrying the hoist runs along the beam. The legs stand on locking swivel castors, so the crane can be moved when empty and locked in place before lifting. Most models must not be moved while carrying a load unless the model is specifically rated for it. Aluminium does not rust, so the crane also suits outdoor work, food processing and water and wastewater facilities. Typical uses: lifting motors, pumps and mechanical equipment at customer sites, lifting equipment out of shafts and manholes, and temporary lifting on production lines.
