Floor-Mounted Pillar Jib Crane, BZD Type

The BZD jib crane is built for heavier loads than the BZK and BZL models. It stands on a steel pillar set into a concrete foundation, and the arm slews a full 360° around it. Slewing is motor-driven, so the arm does not need to be pushed by hand even under heavy load. It suits loading areas, factory yards and workstations handling loads of several tons. It is designed for loads up to 6.3 tons and arm lengths up to 10 m. The arm usually carries an electric chain hoist, and end stops on the arm limit the trolley travel. An electric trolley for moving the hoist along the arm and a wireless remote control are available as options. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The BXK jib crane mounts on a wall or an existing structural column, so it takes up no floor space. The slewing arm usually carries an electric chain hoist, and the crane suits workstations along walls, next to machines and on production lines where the floor needs to stay clear. It is designed for loads up to 1 ton and arm lengths up to 7 m, with a slewing angle of up to 270°. The arm is built from a rail track, in a flexible or rigid version, and the trolley is easily pushed along it by hand. The crane's own weight is relatively low, so it can also be installed in light-structure industrial buildings, provided the wall or column can carry the load. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2.
