EOT Single Girder Bridge Crane

1 – 16t
Electric
Indoor
Outdoor
Explosive atmosphere (ATEX)
Food industry
Marine
Cleanroom
Chemical industry

A top-running crane on a single girder, travelling on runway beams supported by the building's columns. The hoist is mounted on a trolley that runs along the bottom flange of the girder, so the total weight of the crane is low, and the load it applies on the runway and the columns is smaller than that of a double-girder crane of the same lifting capacity. This is the configuration that covers most day-to-day work in plants and production halls. Travel of both the hoist and the crane is controlled by a frequency inverter, with controlled acceleration and deceleration that prevent load sway and reduce mechanical wear in the crane and hoist assemblies and in the travel brakes. Span and lifting height are set according to the dimensions of the building or the requirements and needs on site. The structure is designed according to DIN, FEM, and ISO. The duty class is derived from the actual work profile and duty cycles, in addition to the lifting capacity.

Underslung Crane

2 – 10 t
Electric

An underslung crane hangs from the roof structure or ceiling of the building, and its wheels run on the lower flange of the runway beams. Unlike a top-running overhead crane, it needs no support columns on the floor, so the whole hall stays clear for machines, production lines and forklift traffic. Because the bridge can extend beyond the runways, the hook gets closer to the side walls and covers more of the hall's working area. It suits buildings where the existing roof structure can carry the load, and halls with no room for columns or wall-mounted runways. Available in two configurations: Single girder: one girder with a chain hoist or wire rope hoist travelling along it. Lighter construction, suited to most light and medium-duty work. Double girder: two parallel girders with a hoist trolley running between them. Suited to heavier loads and gives more lifting height, since the hook rises up between the girders. Before design, check that the roof structure can carry the weight of the crane and the load. The model table lists the lifting capacity, span and operating data for each model.

Double Girder Bridge Crane

5 – 50 t
Electric

A double girder overhead crane is built from two parallel steel girders, with the hoist trolley running on rails mounted on top of them. It suits medium to heavy loads, wide spans and intensive multi-shift work in manufacturing plants, logistics warehouses, steel facilities and maintenance halls. Because the trolley runs on top of the girders rather than hanging beneath them, the hook rises up between the two girders, giving more lifting height than a single girder crane in the same hall. The double girder structure is stiffer, so it can cover wide halls with less bridge deflection under load. Walkways and handrails can be fitted on the girders, giving technicians direct access to the motor, hoist and electrical systems during maintenance. The crane can be fitted with an operator cab, an auxiliary hoist, a lifting magnet or dedicated lifting attachments to suit the application. The model table lists the lifting capacity, span, lifting height and working speeds for each model.

Jib Cranes

View category

BZK

Floor-Mounted Pillar Jib Crane, BZK Type

125 – 1000 kg
Electric

The BZK jib crane stands on a steel pillar anchored to the floor, with a slewing arm that carries an electric chain hoist. It suits a fixed workstation where loads are lifted and moved within a radius around the pillar, such as an assembly station, a machine or a loading area. It is designed for loads up to 1 ton and arm lengths up to 7 m, with a slewing angle of up to 270°. The arm is turned by hand, and the structure is designed to make better use of the lifting height under the arm. The pillar is fixed to the foundation with chemical anchors, and end stops on the arm limit the trolley travel. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The model table lists the available combinations of arm length and load.

BZL

Floor-Mounted Pillar Jib Crane, BZL Type

125 – 500 kg
Electric

The BZL jib crane stands on a steel pillar anchored to the floor, with the arm mounted at the top of the pillar and no tie rod above it. This places the arm closer to the ceiling and gives more lifting height underneath. It suits halls with relatively low ceilings or jobs where the load needs to be lifted as high as possible. It is designed for loads up to 0.5 ton and arm lengths up to 7 m, with a slewing angle of up to 270°. The arm usually carries an electric chain hoist and is turned by hand. The pillar is fixed to the foundation with chemical anchors, and end stops on the arm limit the trolley travel. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The model table lists the available combinations of arm length and load.

BXK

Wall-Mounted Jib Crane, BXK Type

80 – 1000 kg
Electric

The BXK jib crane mounts on a wall or an existing structural column, so it takes up no floor space. The slewing arm usually carries an electric chain hoist, and the crane suits workstations along walls, next to machines and on production lines where the floor needs to stay clear. It is designed for loads up to 1 ton and arm lengths up to 7 m, with a slewing angle of up to 270°. The arm is built from a rail track, in a flexible or rigid version, and the trolley is easily pushed along it by hand. The crane's own weight is relatively low, so it can also be installed in light-structure industrial buildings, provided the wall or column can carry the load. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The model table lists the available combinations of arm length and load.

BXL

Wall-Mounted Jib Crane, BXL Type

125 – 500 kg
Electric

The BXL jib crane mounts on a wall or an existing structural column using a standard wall bracket, so it takes up no floor space and is simple to assemble. The arm sits at the top of the bracket with no tie rod above it, which places it closer to the ceiling and gives more lifting height underneath. It suits workstations along walls and halls with relatively low ceilings. It is designed for loads up to 0.5 ton and arm lengths up to 7 m, with a slewing angle of up to 270°. The arm usually carries an electric chain hoist and is turned by hand. End stops on the arm limit the trolley travel. Before installation, check that the wall or column can carry the load. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The model table lists the available combinations of arm length and load.

Floor-Mounted Pillar Jib Crane, BZD Type

1000 – 6300 kg
Electric

The BZD jib crane is built for heavier loads than the BZK and BZL models. It stands on a steel pillar set into a concrete foundation, and the arm slews a full 360° around it. Slewing is motor-driven, so the arm does not need to be pushed by hand even under heavy load. It suits loading areas, factory yards and workstations handling loads of several tons. It is designed for loads up to 6.3 tons and arm lengths up to 10 m. The arm usually carries an electric chain hoist, and end stops on the arm limit the trolley travel. An electric trolley for moving the hoist along the arm and a wireless remote control are available as options. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The model table lists the available combinations of arm length and load.

Electric Wall-Mounted Jib Crane, BXD Type

1000 – 5000 kg
Electric

The BXD is the heavy-duty model in the wall-mounted jib crane range. It mounts on a wall or an existing structural column using a standard wall bracket, so it takes up no floor space. The arm slews up to 180° under motor power, so it does not need to be pushed by hand even under heavy load. The arm sits at the top of the bracket with no tie rod above it, which gives more lifting height underneath. It is designed for loads up to 5 tons and arm lengths up to 10 m. The arm usually carries an electric chain hoist, and end stops on the arm limit the trolley travel. An electric trolley for moving the hoist along the arm and a wireless remote control are available as options. Before installation, check that the wall or column can carry the load. Design to DIN 15018, classes H2/B2. Permitted lifting capacity depends on arm length. The model table lists the available combinations of arm length and load.

Foldable Aluminium Gantry

250–1000 kg
Manual

A foldable aluminium gantry crane is a portable crane that folds or breaks down small enough to fit in a van, and is set up wherever a load needs lifting and there is no fixed lifting infrastructure. It suits field service and maintenance teams, workshops and plants that need a temporary lifting point they can move between workstations. Assembly uses removable pins and fixed joints, with no special tools. On most models the beam height and the span between the legs adjust in fixed steps, so the crane can pass through doorways, work under low ceilings or stand over a wide machine. A push trolley carrying the hoist runs along the beam. The legs stand on locking swivel castors, so the crane can be moved when empty and locked in place before lifting. Most models must not be moved while carrying a load unless the model is specifically rated for it. Aluminium does not rust, so the crane also suits outdoor work, food processing and water and wastewater facilities. Typical uses: lifting motors, pumps and mechanical equipment at customer sites, lifting equipment out of shafts and manholes, and temporary lifting on production lines. The model table lists the lifting capacity, height range, span and dead weight for each model.

PG2

Lightweight Aluminium Gantry Crane

250–2000 kg
Manual

The PG2 lightweight aluminium gantry crane stands on two legs and is used for lifting where no fixed crane is installed. The structure is aluminium alloy, so it is relatively light to carry and assemble. Lifting capacity depends on beam length: up to 2,000 kg on the short beams, 2,500 to 3,920 mm, and up to 250 kg on a 9,000 mm beam. Beam lengths run from 2,500 to 9,000 mm, crane weight from 166 to 275 kg, and the weight of a single leg from 68 to 93 kg. The legs come in several builds, designated S, M, I and T. The model table lists the beam length, lifting capacity and weight of each model.
